ARNO – Animal Rescue New Orleans
Founded in 2006, Animal Rescue New Orleans (ARNO) is a volunteer-driven 501(c)(3) nonprofit serving the greater New Orleans area. The organization focuses on rescuing and supporting abandoned and at-risk animals, including those requiring urgent medical treatment and animals that are elderly, very young, ill, neglected, or mistreated. Through its no-kill shelter, ARNO works to place animals in foster homes, facilitate adoptions, reunite lost pets with their families, and promote responsible pet ownership through spay and neuter initiatives.
Unbound Now
Unbound Now works to combat both child and adult human trafficking through a comprehensive, survivor-centered approach. The organization identifies victims, provides coordinated long-term support, pursues accountability through the justice system, and engages communities to create sustainable change.
Toups’ Family Meal
Toups’ Family Meal began as a community-led response to urgent local needs in New Orleans, launching in March 2020 during the COVID-19 pandemic. What started as an effort to provide meals amid restaurant closures and rising food insecurity has grown into a mission-driven organization addressing both hunger and transportation challenges.
