Born and raised in North Louisiana until I was 14 years old, I am no stranger to the small-town, Southern way of life.

I grew up in Monroe but spent most of my weekends and summers with my cousins on my grandparents’ rice and soybeans farm near Oak Grove, in the Mississippi River Delta region.

Memories were made fishing, swimming, hunting, and riding tractors and four-wheelers. It was a twenty-minute ride into town to go to a store or to church, but even being spread out at least a few miles from each other, neighbors still took the time to visit and help each other.

Although my dad’s career eventually brought my immediate family to the New Orleans area, my upbringing instilled in me an unbelievable system of values including the importance of family, helping others, and always doing the right thing.

An avid reader from a very early age, I knew I wanted to be a lawyer by the time I was eleven after reading John Grisham’s A Time to Kill. This book resonated with me the power of the law and the difference that even one person can make in achieving justice by simply doing the right thing.

I graduated cum laude from Southeastern Louisiana University with a degree in International Business and obtained my law degree from Loyola Law School in 2009.

I was fortunate to be able to spend my first few years out of law school practicing in St. Charles Parish, helping clients navigate through bankruptcy, family law, personal injury, and other general civil litigation issues. I met many people who became friends and though I reside in New Orleans, I fell in love with this area, the people, and the laid-back way of life.

I have spent the last several years working in various areas of insurance defense, which has allowed me to gain invaluable experience regarding the information insurance companies need and what factors and flags they look for in evaluating and paying claims. This knowledge enables me to assist clients in going after the insurance companies with the best possible outcome.

I bring a wealth of experience to the table to assist with all aspects of personal injury from filing claims with the insurance companies to negotiating with the insurance adjusters and dealing with the medical providers and the Court. Working directly with clients on these types of cases is my passion, and it is truly rewarding to assist a client with experience and compassion to a positive outcome.

Outside of work, I have been married for 13 years to my better half, Corey. We have three amazing children, Rhett, Camille, and Jude, and a goofy boxer named Bella.

We love our community in the Lakeview area of New Orleans and are committed to helping turn things around in the City. I enjoy good music, festivals, food, family, and football. Jazz Fest is my ultimate favorite.
