I’m a third generation lawyer...it's quite literally in my DNA.

My grandfather, Senator Nat G. Kiefer, Sr., founded the Kiefer & Kiefer firm and passed it on to us.

Running this firm is a privilege, an honor, and a great responsibility that I don’t take lightly.

And with this responsibility, also comes power.

The power of choice: to take on difficult cases most lawyers don’t want to touch.

The power of empathy: to guide my clients through not only their legal battles – but also through the host of other issues that come with legal trouble…making sure that they are truly able to become whole.

And a power I didn’t realize I’d been searching for my whole life: to be able to fight like hell for good people living in a world full of inequities and injustices.

I began to see time and time again how one tragic event could so easily seep into every aspect of a person’s life, and after finishing law school, I became determined to incorporate this realization into my law practice.

When I began working with personal injury cases, I started asking more questions. I wanted them to tell me all the details – not just about their injury, but about all the ways their injury has impacted the rest of their life, as well.

Attention to these details allows me to know my clients better, to fight for them better, and to paint a complete picture of their struggles that a jury can’t look away from.

This deep diving is not what people expect, and it’s certainly not what most lawyers do.

But at my firm, we commit fully to each client and their recovery.

We have worked with people to get them into mental health therapy when they need it and make the necessary changes to their living situation to account for their new disability.

We have helped clients who grew up in poverty forever change the fabric of their families after their injury – allowing them to buy their first homes, put themselves through school, and invest in a new business.

When I help people secure the compensation they need to move forward with their lives, they hug me. They cry to me. They cook me family recipes. They invite me to their children’s birthday parties and view me as part of their family.

Clients choose to hire me to help with the most important stressor in their life, and I do not take that trust lightly.
