Kiefer & Kiefer has filed suit against The Dollar Tree and the owner of the building where it is occupied in Ascension Parish.
Our client was a customer at the Dollar Tree in Donaldsonville, Louisiana when he slipped and fell in water when he was walking down the aisles shopping. He sustained neck and back injuries, which the Dollar Tree claimed were unrelated to the slip and fall. The lawsuit alleges that the presence of water was caused due to the negligence of the Dollar Tree and/or building owners due to the fact that the water was coming from an appliance in the store and was not cleaned timely, nor were there any Wet Floor signs.
